Microsoft y myspace.

El otro día me llego una invitación de amigos, así como un mail a mi Myspace, lo cual es extraño, ya que realmente nunca lo use.

Por pura curiosidad abrí el mensaje, el cual resulto ser de un empleado de Microsoft!

Microsoft is planning an offsite in Mexico where we plan to interview and hire several software developers for our Development Centre in Redmond, WA. While the specific jobs and groups are not yet identified, it’s safe to say there will be a range of opportunities from web level to back-end work, from .NET technologies to servers to development languages to databases. These will be high-level, middleware, and even low-level positions, with coding strengths in C, C++. C# is an great addition as well. At Microsoft, we work very hard to fit candidates in the ideal position for their own skills, and to do this, we assess candidates for a range of jobs and groups. It’s an individual process. Some things we look for: • Core software developers who should have C and C++ primarily • Passion for testing or breaking software and code, and writing large test tools—we are very creative testers, who need to be strong coders too • Java knowledge is ok, but we still need a strong developer with great OOP skills • C# is a plus; many of our developers code in C# now. • SQL, .NET, Web Services, AJAX, SOAP, and servers are all great technologies to be familiar with • Enterprise Search skills are great • Passion and knowledge around databases is great as well I was wondering if you might be interested in this opportunity or if you know somebody who is? Primero dude de que fuera cierto, pero ya que revise su perfil y lo del mail, resulta que si es de Microsoft, andan buscando gente aquí en México. De hecho acabo de hablar con un amigo que va a ser entrevistado.
